BERRIMA SCOUT CAMP

Our local campsite in a nice location and on the river. Quite nice. The Berrima Scout Camp is located in Apple Street Berrima. Not to be confused with the Berrima public camping ground which is at the bottom of Oxley Street. From the Old Hume Hwy, turn into Oxley Street. Then turn right into Argyle Street and left into Apple Street. It's a bit confusing because it seems to be Old Mandemar Road but it's really Apple Street.
WARRABUNDA SCOUT CAMP Be warned. Warrabunda is a "no frills" scout camp. It's where the Scouts rough it. Depending on weather conditions and maintenance, vehicular access can be difficult. Check with your leader first. If you've got a 4WD, you'd better bring it just in case! To get there, take the Bargo exit from the Hume Hwy and head towards Tahmoor. Just after the Tahmoor Inn, turn right into Rockford Road and head down the road for about 2km. keep a look out on the left for a Scout sign in hidden driveway. It is hard to find first time around. Also the gate may be locked for security reasons, so bring your phone
GLENFIELD SCOUT ACTIVITY CENTRE This is a nice one and its the favourite haunt of Joey Scouts. Again, take the Hume Hwy and then take the Liverpool exit(Camden Valley Way). Head towards Liverpool and then backtrack onto the M5 and take the ramp down again. Keep left and take the Glenfield exit. There are numerous roundabouts, so check your map. It's next to the army base in Cambridge Avenue, Moorebank.
CATARACT SCOUT PARK This the biggest camp in NSW and maybe Australia. Again, up the Hume Hwy and take the Picton exit. Then turn right and go towards Wollongong down Picton Road. Then take the Wilton turn off and head toward Appin. Drive through the gorge and when you get to Appin, turn right into Appin Road. Head down the road for a few kms and the Scout park is on the right
